The
reason why we fall sick is because our immune system “loses-out” in its fight
against a virus or bacteria. When we do however recover from a sickness, our
immune system is at a weaker-point and thus require a nutritious “ladder” to climb
back to an optimal point.
The
“ladder” is food and we are going to get into the particular make-up of the “ladder”
in-question.
PROTEIN
Our
bodies require protein to make new cells that will bring back your general
healthy look/feel. Eat proteins especially non-fatty ones and avoid using too
many spices in their preparation or you risk upsetting your stomach which can
cause you to vomit. You are on your way to full-recovery so there should be a
gentle and selective return to normal. EAT
FRESH BOILED FISH MOSTLY to help your system produce cells to repair
itself. Also eat lean meat, eggs, nuts and beans to get you going on your
journey to the “recovered land”.
FRUITS
AND VEGETABLES
These
particularly contain lots of antioxidants to re-enforce your immune system. They
are easily digested and nutrients absorbed without stressing your digestive system.
DO WELL TO EAT LOTS OF FRESH FRUITS AND
VEGETABLES to provide you with vitamins and minerals that trigger a “rocket”
pace of recovery.
WATER
Remember
to keep hydrated to help you feel refreshed always.
