REASONS
Skipping breakfast according to research contributes to weight gain than weight loss and people who “skip breaking” their “fast” in the morning have increased risk of becoming or staying overweight/obese.

HOW SKIPPING BREAKFAST CONTRIBUTES TO WEIGHT GAIN

It’s common knowledge that we need to eat to keep hunger away and ultimately stay healthy. It’s evidentially proven that, breakfast determines your diet pattern/choices throughout the day.

People who eat breakfast are more likely to make good food choices in the day compared to skippers.

When you skip breakfast your body starts to dig into your stored nutrients especially energy and eventually this starts to run-out. Then at lunch time your brains pushes you to go in for high-caloric foods which are easy to digest and unhealthy weight-wise. You end-up eating more food than they usually do and this will cancel out the calories you tried to cut by skipping breakfast.
Studies show that you will accumulate more fat when you eat lesser larger meals than when you eat smaller meals frequently.

CONCLUSION
Skipping breakfast will actually make you quest to lose weight more difficult. Break the fast and it will help your weight loss.
